The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare IIFT 2019-2020 result on December 11, 2019 on the official website. The candidates who appeared in the exam held on December 1 can download their scorecards using their IIFT application number and password.
IIFT exam was conducted by the NTA this year in online mode and about 30, 000 students took the exam. The IIFT 2020 question paper was easy even though the test structure and marking scheme were different from last year. This year, the overall IIFT cut off is expected to be 105-108. Candidates awaiting their result must know when and how to download the scorecard. The IIFT 2020 scorecard will be available for download on the official website of IIFT-NTA from December 11, 2019 till December 31, 2020. How to Download IIFT 2019-2020 Result
To download the IIFT 2019-2020 result, the candidates have to log on to the IIFT-NTA website and click on the ‘result’ tab. In the new window that opens, candidates have to enter their IIFT application number and password or date of birth. The IIFT 2020 result will be displayed in PDF format, which can be downloaded on the desktop or laptop.

Every candidate’s IIFT result cum scorecard will contain their name, application number, date of birth, category, sectional score and overall score. In case any information is missing on the scorecard, the candidates must contact the examination authorities.
How to calculate IIFT score
Each candidate’s score is calculated on the basis of marks earned for each right answer and marks deducted for each wrong answer. The marking scheme of IIFT is such that 3 marks are awarded for each right answer in Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation and one mark is awarded for each right answer in General Knowledge (GK) section.
There is negative marking of -1 marks in Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation sections and -0.5 marks in General Knowledge for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unanswered questions.
Once the sectional scores are calculated, they are added to arrive at overall score.
What after IIFT result?
After the declaration of IIFT result 2020, candidates are shortlisted for essay writing, group discussion and personal interview round of IIFT admission process. Selected candidates are required to participate in this round for final selection into the 2020-2020 batch of MBA-International Business.
The shortlisting of candidates for essay writing, group discussion and personal interview is done on the basis of IIFT score and academic record. Candidates who meet the minimum cut off marks fixed for 2020 admission stand a chance of being shortlisted for essay writing, group discussion and personal interview round.
The essay writing, group discussion and personal interview round will be conducted in January / February 2020 in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
