During the encounter, many teams of the army and police were deployed in the area on Monday afternoon. In the afternoon, many officers of the CRPF and SSP Pulwama along with DIG of South Kashmir and many Army officers were involved in this operation.
In the cross-firing, DIG Amit Kumar was shot on foot, After which the police officers took them to a local hospital immediately. It is being said that after primary treatment, they are being taken to Chopper to Delhi.
Shortly after this incident, a Brigadier of Army also got a bullet in the stomach. After which he was shifted to Military Hospital in Srinagar. Apart from this, the Lieutenant Colonel, Captain, and Sub Inspector have also been injured.
Pinglena village is being rocked continue since Monday morning, In view of that, the CRPF teams have been deployed to maintain law and order during the ongoing military operation.

3 terrorists killed in Pulwama encounter
