The cut-off list of the Delhi University will be published online on the official website of Delhi University. Delhi University is one of the well-known universities in India. University of Delhi conducts its own entrance exam for providing admissions to various courses offered by it. The admission to various under graduate courses is done entirely on the basis of entrance exam and merit list issued.
Cut-off 2017
The University of Delhi releases the cut-off list for the process of admission before the commencement of admission procedure. Delhi University will publish the separate lists for different courses. The cut-off is the minimum marks which candidates are required to score in the entrance exam or the qualifying examination. The cut-off list will be prepared in accordance with the total number of applications received, cut-off of the last year and the qualifying marks which are obtained by the candidate
Delhi University Admissions Cut-off
In accordance with the cut off marks released by the various colleges under Delhi University, admission to the candidates is provided to the candidates who get eligible under the criteria of cut-off. The cut-off marks are determined on the basis of the candidate’s past performance and class 12th result. The candidates will be given the notification of cut off marks through the official website of the University. Once, the Delhi University ( DU) cut off list is announced by the university, the candidates are then required to go to the college of his/her choice for getting the admissions. After this, the candidates will have to fill the college admission form and university enrollment form as well.
List of all the documents required at the time of admissions-
The candidates will be required to bring along the following documents at the time of admissions. The documents that are required should be in original and 2 self-attested photocopies as well. The documents are as-
- Passing certificate of class 10th
- Mark sheet of class 10th
- Mark sheet of class 12th
- Original or provisional certificates of class 12th
- Recent Character Certificate
- Certificate of category in case of reserved category
- OBC certificate
- Transfer Certificate in case 12th class done from outside Delhi
- Migration Certificate in case 12th class done from outside Delhi
- Two self-attested passport size photographs
Reservations-
For SC candidates there is reservation of 15% seats
For ST candidates there is reservation of 7.5% seats
For OBC candidates there is reservation of 27% seats
For PWD candidates, there is reservation of 3% seats that have 40% physical disabilities
For Armed Forces, there is reservation of 5% seats
For foreign students, there is reservation of 5% seats
For Sports quota, the reservation is of 5% seats
Note- There is minimum eligibility of marks and 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST and 10% relaxation to OBC candidates. Merit list will be prepared for all the general candidates, and if any candidate of reserved category comes under merit list will be considered general candidate for the process of admission.
