Save movie or event tickets: Android users can now conveniently add their movies and event tickets to their Google Wallet.
Access boarding passes: Traveling? No problem. Easily save and access your mobile boarding passes right from the Google Wallet app. Google Pixel users can add their boarding passes with just a screenshot.
Redeem loyalty or gift cards: Google Wallet allows users to store and use digital copies of their loyalty and gift cards. The company has partnered with brands like Flipkart, Domino, and Shopper Stop.
Use your Android phone as your corporate badge: Google Wallet users can store and access the corporate badge in the app, making workspace access more convenient.
Digitise physical documents: Android users will be able to create new passes in the Google Wallet from any image containing a barcode or QR code, like airline boarding passes, luggage tags, or parking receipts.
View tickets automatically from Gmail: There is no need to search through emails. With smart personalization, important tickets from Gmail automatically appear in your Google Wallet.
Google has partnered with 20 brands to enable the Google Wallet experience in India. It includes PVR & INOX, Air India, Indigo, Flipkart, Pine Labs, Kochi Metro, Abhibus, and others.
