Kerala Police Strengthens Cybersecurity with Advanced Security Operations Center Developed by C-DOT

On March 6, 2025, Kerala’s Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Advanced Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC) for the Kerala Police Cyber Division. This center has been established to enhance the cybersecurity of police systems and critical infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony was conducted via video conferencing.

C-DOT’s Contribution: TRINETRA Solution

The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), the premier research and development center of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has developed the TRINETRA Cyber Security Operations Center for the Kerala Police.

TRINETRA is an AI-powered, indigenous, and integrated cybersecurity platform designed specifically to address the cybersecurity needs of enterprises and critical sectors. It is capable of monitoring endpoints, analyzing network traffic, detecting vulnerabilities, identifying anomalies, and mitigating cyber threats effectively.

Key Features and Functions of SOC

  • The SOC will focus on securing computers, digital assets, and critical infrastructure at police headquarters, city commissionerates, and associated police stations.
  • It will provide 24×7 cyber threat monitoring, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure robust data protection.
  • This initiative marks a significant step in strengthening the cyber resilience and security of Kerala Police’s digital infrastructure.
