MG Hector will be launching tomorrow in India. Tomorrow, the company will disclose the price of this premium 5-seater SUV. MG Hector will be the first car in India for MG Motors. The company has started this car production in its Gujarat plant. The company had introduced this upswing SUV on May 15 in India.
The booking for this premium SUV was started from 4th June. According to some dealers taking the booking, the price will be very aggressive. During the media drive event of MG India, company CEO and MD Rajiv Chhaba had said that the price of this SUV will surprise you. We hope that its price can start from Rs 10 lakh for base petrol model and up to 16 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) for top diesel models.
If the price is kept between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 16 lakh, it will be heavier on the Hyundai Creta segment of India’s best selling car in addition to the upswing SUV, Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass. Due to aggressive pricing, MG is also expected to get great popularity in the country.
MG Hector is a connected SUV and will have many connectivity features. For this, the company has also partnered with many legendary tech companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, Cisco, Nuance, TomTom and Unlimit. The company claims that the i-Smart system given in it will be the most advanced in-car tech system and the special thing is that the company will also provide over-the-air (OTA) update technology in Hector. That is, customers will get real time software updates.
MG Hector was introduced in four variants. These variants are style, super, smart and sharp. These variants will come in three engine options. There will be two petrol and a diesel option. Additionally, here are 5 color options – candy wight, Aurora silver, galleys red, stary black and burgundy red.
Hector’s top variants include many features such as 10.4-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System, 7.0-inch MID, Hill hold and descent control, leather upholstery, electricity adjustable driver seat and 360-degree view parking system.
